Scenic village setting, ample free parking, well-equipped rooms
Consider maintaining more updated room furnishings!!! The lack of air conditioning made my stay quite uncomfortable!!! clarify the dining options on your website to avoid confusion !!!

We had a lovely stay with a spacious room and friendly staff, exploring the nearby charming villages. Enjoyed a delightful breakfast and the comfortable atmosphere made it a great family getaway with our kid. The location was also perfect for day trips.
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom could really benefit from non-slip mats for kids’ safety.

I stayed for a group gathering and enjoyed the hot buffet breakfast, which really set us up for the day. The local scene had some charming pubs nearby that were great for unwinding in the evening. it was a bit disappointing when our room keys were deactivated before we officially checked out, forcing us to get help to access our own room. it was a fine experience with some room for improvement.

I stayed in a Classic Double Room, and it was really spacious and quiet. The bed was super comfy, and I had a great night’s sleep. Plus, there was a useful fridge in the room! Floors were solid, so no annoying squeaks during bathroom trips. It felt homey and had everything I needed for a cozy stay.

The location offered tranquility and stunning views of the South Downs, making it the perfect spot for relaxation. The room was spacious with ample storage and a comfortable atmosphere. the property could benefit from a deep clean and a touch of TLC. A few details, like the cleanliness of common areas, fell short of expectations, detracting slightly from the overall experience.

the staff were super friendly and helpful, made us feel really welcome. the classic double room was clean and comfy, perfect for us. the village is beautiful and quiet, a nice escape from the city. we enjoyed the food at the restaurant, especially the carvery. overall, it was a lovely stay and we’d come back for sure.
the shower pressure could've been better and the toilet flush needed a bit of nudging. also, the bar seating area was kinda weird and small.

Charming stay with excellent service
My one-night stay was a delightful surprise in a charming village. The room was spacious and clean, complemented by warm and attentive service from the staff, especially at breakfast where the selection was impressive with highlights like crispy bacon and fresh pastries. the plumbing in my room could use some improvement, as the shower pressure was a bit weak. I left feeling refreshed and eager to return!

Had a blast here with friends! Enjoyed a four-course meal on New Year’s and danced the night away. The nearby quaint villages were perfect for a leisurely stroll. the breakfast buffet was stocked well. Definitely a great spot for group gatherings!
One downside was the bed comfort. pillows were lumpy, and I expected better for the price.
